Chef Amos’s stuffed mushrooms

Father’s Day is on June 18 and all around the world excitement is mounting as special Father’s Day treats are planned.

Chef Amos Masemola from Casa Portuguesa said this recipe holds a special place in his heart and it is very easy to make.

He invites dads to come and visit him at Casa Portuguesa for meals made with love.

He shares his recipe with Get It readers.

 

Ingredients:

Crushed garlic – to your own taste

150ml fresh cream

A hand full of finely chopped fresh parsley

As much cheese as you would like

Portuguese Chourico finely chopped

A pinch of salt

Four black mushrooms

Olive oil

 

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth.

Brush with some olive oil and grill for about two minutes.

In a pot mix the garlic, cream, parsley, cheese, Chourico and salt together and bring to boil for a few minutes until it thickens.

Using a little spoon, fill each mushroom cap with a generous amount of stuffing.

Garnish and serve to the special man in your life.
